If people are hypnotized in the first 2 minutes why not start the show then? And conversely, if people are not hypnotized at the end of the induction, shouldn’t people know what to do to get them hypnotized ? ..

Suggestibility Tests and Rapid Induction
Demonstration of waking hypnosis also known as suggestibility tests. Such as forgetting or mixing up a number. I test a person with some foolproof methods such as magnetic hands come together and with direct and optional suggestions. You can actually see that the person exits “trance” because I hypnotized her by merely speaking and focusing her attention on my eyes and slowly entering a trance myself.

Hypnotized–But, She Doesn’t Know It
During a classroom demonstration at Bayonne High School, I hypnotized three students, then—while they were still in the state of hypnosis—I asked them whether they thought they were hypnotized. I like to do this during my demonstrations to give the class and the volunteers the opportunity to realize that, although a person is deeply hypnotized, he/she can feel as though they are awake or not hypnotized. Its interesting to see how people rationalize their behavior while hypnotized. Some people dont even realize they are hypnotized. For those studying hypnosis: Why do you suppose this happens?
