While I was there advertising The Paradox Agency for Hypnosis I chatted with Mike a Joe Weider 39 s Muscle Fitness model and bodybuilder who graciously agreed to be filmed while I demonstrated hypnosis to him.In this video you see me hypnotizing Mike for the first time this was his first experience with hypnosis . The video begins with Mike standing and waiting for me to move two chairs before beginning the hypnosis induction he had just agreed to be filmed a few moments before the camera started rolling.Although the sound quality in this video is not standard I have posted it because this video shows some advanced street hypnosis techniques that easily can be spotted by those studying intermediate and advanced instant and rapid or street hypnosis inductions.For those studying hypnosis at home or taking formal hypnosis classes : Notice how Mike appears to be resistant at first and then moves into deeper levels of hypnosis as the induction progresses. At the beginning of the class, I used an instant induction to demonstrate to one group of students how quickly deep states of hypnosis can be reached when a rapid induction is properly executed. Next, I invited several students to the front of the class to give them the opportunity to experience hypnosis. NOTE: The student who volunteered to be hypnotized by rapid induction had never been hypnotized before taking my class that day. This was his first experience with hypnosis. For those learning hypnosis: --The difference between rapid inductions (approximately 4 minutes long or less) and instant inductions (less than 1 minute long) is the time taken to execute the entire induction. CAVEAT: Hypnosis can seem harmless. However, the danger of hypnosis (specifically recreational hypnosis) lies in not properly learning suggestion formation and the effects of hypnosis, being sloppy with suggestions (not knowing what to avoid doing), and not following strict ethics—to name just a few things. Please be careful. Learn hypnosis ethics, safety and proper execution before you attempt to hypnotize anyone.
